Taco Chelo Celebrates Arizona Taco Fest Win with Custom Graphics and Printed Designs By Cesar Graphics!

A festival booth is more than a place to serve food. Before the first taco is ordered, the space is already telling a story.

For Taco Chelo, that story came through color, character, and the unmistakable hand of Gennaro—one of the owners and the artist behind the project’s graphics. Cesar Graphics helped translate his artwork into printed pieces for a busy festival setting while keeping the designs true to their original spirit.

Taco Chelo’s Arizona Taco Fest win gave the project another reason to celebrate. Food brought people to the booth; the graphics helped create a setting guests could notice, approach, photograph, and remember.

A coordinated festival booth, piece by piece

The project brought together several custom printed elements. Each had its own purpose, but together they helped the booth feel like one complete idea:

  • Custom canopy edges

  • Table covers for round tables

  • Printed covers for picnic tables

  • Custom menu signage

  • Table throws for the main area

  • A custom-wrapped ice cream cart

The goal was not to make every surface identical. It was to carry Gennaro’s visual language across the booth so the pieces felt connected.

Gennaro’s artwork gave the project its heart

This was not generic event art. Gennaro created the artwork used across the printed materials, bringing an owner’s understanding of Taco Chelo’s food, culture, personality, and the feeling the team wanted guests to experience.

Our role was to help adapt that artwork to different materials and surfaces without overworking it. A design that looks strong on screen may need careful scaling and placement to read from across a festival aisle, fit a long canopy edge, or wrap cleanly around a cart. Collaboration helped the artwork keep its character as it moved from design to print.

Canopy graphics made the booth easier to spot

At a festival, the canopy is often visible before the tables or menu. Its edges frame the space and can help guests recognize a booth from a distance. For Taco Chelo, the custom canopy edges carried Gennaro’s art across a long horizontal area while helping the setup feel finished.

Good canopy graphics need to work both up close and from farther away. That means balancing bold artwork with clear, readable details.

Table covers brought the design into the guest area

Taco Chelo had round tables and picnic tables, giving the project a mix of shapes and surfaces. Printed covers helped carry the artwork from the main booth into the places where guests gathered, sat, and enjoyed their food.

Functional furniture became part of the atmosphere rather than fading into the background. That kind of continuity helps an event space feel intentional.

Menu signage connected the booth to the food

Menu signage has a practical job: help guests understand their choices and make decisions in a busy environment. But practical does not have to mean plain.

The custom menu signs gave visitors a clear point of reference while carrying the same creative spirit as the other pieces. At a food festival, clear signage can make the experience easier for guests and help keep the ordering area moving.

The wrapped ice cream cart became a standout feature

A cart has movement, shape, and personality built in. A custom wrap can turn it into more than a serving station—it can become a feature guests remember.

Unlike a flat sign, a cart wrap has to work around corners, panels, and edges. Careful placement and scale help the artwork feel considered as people view it from different angles. For Taco Chelo, the wrapped ice cream cart gave Gennaro’s artwork another distinctive surface and added a playful detail to the booth.

Collaboration kept the artwork true to Taco Chelo

The strongest print projects bring the artwork, materials, and real-world setting together early. Gennaro brought the creative direction. Taco Chelo’s festival needs shaped the pieces. Our print team helped translate those ideas into printed materials suited to the different surfaces and viewing distances.

That meant thinking through questions such as where each piece would be seen, how close guests would be, which details needed to read from a distance, and how colors and layouts could remain cohesive across different materials. Those production considerations support the creative goal: helping the original vision survive the move from screen to a physical event space.

Why cohesive event printing matters

Food festivals are sensory experiences. Guests remember the flavor, music, weather, people, and the feeling around a booth. Printed event graphics add to that memory by helping create a mood, making a vendor easier to find, and giving a team a stronger presence.

Depending on the materials and setup, pieces such as table throws, menu signage, and wrapped carts may also work at future pop-ups, catering events, markets, or festivals. A coordinated set of graphics can help a growing business carry its visual identity from one event to the next.

A celebration in print, food, and creative teamwork

Taco Chelo brought the tacos. Gennaro brought the art. Cesar Graphics was proud to help bring those designs to life across custom canopy edges, table covers, picnic-table graphics, menu signage, table throws, and a wrapped ice cream cart.

The final result was bigger than any one printed item. It was the feeling guests got when they approached the booth and everything clicked—and a fitting visual setting for Taco Chelo’s Arizona Taco Fest win.
